Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan officially launched Bharat-VISTAAR (Virtually Integrated System to Access Agricultural Resources) — India's AI-powered digital public infrastructure for agriculture — at the State Institute of Agricultural Management, Durgapura, Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and other dignitaries were present at the event.

The platform — announced in the Union Budget 2026-27 with Rs. 150 crore allocation — features a voice-first AI assistant "Bharati" accessible via helpline 155261, enabling 120 million farmers to receive real-time, multilingual agricultural advisories.
