What You Will Do
- Lead architecture across TypeScript and Node.js, Python, React and Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Own AI architecture: Agentic pipelines, agentic workflows, multi-model orchestration and GenAI-powered products.
- Lead the development team including AI engineers: code and prompt reviews, mentoring, and a clear Definition of Done.
- Own CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes platforms, model deployment pipelines, inference infrastructure and vector stores.
- Drive the release cycle for product and AI features, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Stay hands-on: solve architectural bottlenecks, debug model behaviour and tune retrieval quality.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional software development, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior capacity.
- Expert TypeScript, Node.js and Python, with React or Next.js and strong PostgreSQL.
- Deep Agentic AI engineering: APIs, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, multi-model orchestration and vector databases.
- 3+ significant projects delivered end to end, including meaningful AI/ML work. Be ready to explain your own role.
- System design for distributed systems, with LLM latency, cost and accuracy trade-offs.
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI), containers, Kubernetes and cloud deployment on AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Clear communication of technical and AI concepts to the team and to leadership.
